What got you interested in tattooing:

I have always been interested in the idea of tattoos. The intricacy and personable experiences with every tattoo is always different, and yet the emotions of joy and excitement is what draws me in the most. Seeing the smile when I first reveal the finished product, makes it all worth while. It was different, when I only produced paintings. My work was limited and objectified to a canvas, something that anyone can produce. But when you go through the process of ironing out ideas, creating the draft and permanently painting it on the skin, it means so much more. Not only to me, but to my new client and friend.

What are your thoughts on tattoos:

Tattoos are a permanent way to decorated your sacred temple. There are no guidelines of the perfect way to express what you love most. The art is yours, and I’m here to make your dreams a reality. Tattoos have emerged from being hidden, frowned upon and even shamed, to a new glorious age where they are highly appreciated! In a free period of expression and acceptance. I’m excited to be apart of a growing art culture.

What style/genre tattoo is your favorite:

There is no specific style I like to stick to, I have a grand appreciation of any and all styles out there. Whether it be realism, neo-traditional, sailor jerry, polka, new school, Japanese or painterly. I have a strong ambition to succeed in the many styles, if not all.

Who or what influences your art style:

My biggest influences of my art would have to be nature. Within its colors, I find the feeing of adventure and serenity. Every leaf, crack in the earth and unsymmetrical line is all so unintentionally artistically made. The earth inspires me. Not only in the obvious spectrum, but it feeds my mind to expand farther. To go beyond what the eyes see. To find artistic mystery and produce fantasy alike.

Personal thoughts?

It is a dream to be tattooing freely as my career. I hope to inspire my daughter to take what she wants from this world. That there are no limitations in what she can accomplish! I also want to thank all of you for gifting me the opportunity to adorn you with my art. You are what makes this all possible.
